Firefox 3 to be released on June 17th

The new firefox 3 will have a ton of security upgrades that will protect you against most known malicious and phishing websites. Previously firefox would just warn you about such sites but now it will just outright block them, although you can manually turn off the feature if you need access to such sites, like security researchers. There is also a new “Places” feature which lets users quickly access sites they recently bookmarked or tagged and pages they visit frequently but haven’t bookmarked. There are many more cool new features including design and speed improvements in firefox 3.
