Make A Favicon In One Click

by Bryn Youngblut on July 30, 2008

This is the simplest way I have came across making a favicon and I have being using this site for every website I make when I go to make a favicon. You just upload the image and it creates the favicon and provides you with a download link. What’s also cool is you can select the option to have your favicon animated or make it scrolling text. All of this is completely free thanks to http://www.html-kit.com/favicon/

Check them out, it’s incredible how fast and easy it is.

That’s a good tip. But what happens when their service goes down like MyFavatar did?

I think you should show your readers how to do it themselves like this:

Good tip, although this site is easier I doubt it would go down but hey if it does it’s always good to know another alternative.

Hmm that’s odd…always worked fine for me, must just be a random happening or they’re getting overwhelmed with traffic…if it’s still down tomorrow I’ll remove it and possibly find another site. Thanks for the update.

Yeah, it must have been an overload or something with my ISP or my computer. But it is an easy site to use.
