Get Your Ads Approved On Facebook

by Bryn Youngblut on November 1, 2008

You might all be reading this going what the hell, I thought Bryn told us not to waste time with facebook anymore. Well it turns out Facebook really isn’t THAT hard to get ads approved. I have had amazing success with Facebook for the last few months. When I wrote that post originally I was having a hard time that day but I’ve had great success ever since so I figured I would share a few resources. There are some dirty tricks to get around getting your ads approved.

If you haven’t already, read this 2 part series by Nickycakes on gaming facebook:

http://www.nickycakes.com/gaming-facebook-ads-part-1

There is no reason you should have any trouble getting ads approved after reading the above posts. Just because an ad gets rejected at first don’t give up, try different things. Submit, submit and submit.

I’ve heard the click through rates on Facebook are really poor, I’d love to hear your opinion on this.

Oh yeah they’re CTR is terrible, they could be making so much more money if they allowed larger ads. Although it is low, the amount of clicks you can get are still incredible in such a short time. Facebook shows literally millions of ad impressions every minute and if your bid/ad is decent you won’t have much trouble getting a ton of clicks very quickly.

Sounds like a minor mistake could be expensive then!

When testing things out just set your daily budget low. 10-20 bucks is a good start to see if something converts.
