Basically choose an offer on whatever affiliate network you want to use or are with. Then research it, find out who else is running the offer, look at how their advertising it, what they're doing that's working, how they set they're landing page up, etc. That or flip it around and search for something like "Payday loans" for instance and see which ones seem to be getting promoted more than others. Hostgator has great support and they will help you set everything up without a problem. As far as AM/PPC goes I would say once you've decided the offer(s) you want to promote do research on them, then start with a broad PPC campaign, find out what works and what doesn't then you just constantly tweak it from there until your profiting.
