Elite Retreat – The Event Of The Year

by Bryn Youngblut on November 11, 2008

Elite Retreat is so exclusive and so limited that if you were going to attend any event this year, THIS should be it.

The amount of knowledge and more importantly contacts you will gain from simply networking with some of the biggest names around the web is so unbelievable that this event should cost A LOT more.

I have special consent from Jeremy Schoemaker to write about this since he will not be posting about it on his blog until Monday.

I’m telling you, if I wasn’t in College full-time right now I would have my application in already and my bags packed.

I could describe how awesome it is in my own words but who better to give the low down than Jeremy himself, here’s the information straight from the site:

About Elite Retreat

Spend quality time brainstorming with the best & brightest internet marketing pros

Hi! I’m Jeremy Schoemaker (SEM expert) and on behalf of the other Elite Retreat leaders I want to welcome you. We’re inviting you to join a small group of entrepreneurs for two focused days sharing our expertise and helping you learn exactly what you need to grow your business to the next level and beyond.

You’ve probably heard pitches like this before, however, because there are a number of marketing conferences throughout the world that are what we call “pitchfests”, inexpensive events where you get a sampling of experts followed by an exhausting series of sales pitches. Lots of “want to learn more? Just pull out your credit card”.

We’ve been to enough of these that it’s become quite obvious to us that you typically don’t learn much at pitchfests and instead end up leaving poorer, rather than richer. Further, most of them have hundreds of attendees, and while it’s fun to be part of the crowd, it’s a lot more valuable to be part of a small group where you get to actually interact with the experts rather than listen and buy.

That’s what the Elite Retreat is all about.

It’s logical if you think about it. What would be the ultimate in valuable communication with a leader or instructor? One-on-one time. It’s why people mob good speakers after a conference talk: everyone wants to have that few minutes of valuable interaction, that ability to talk about their own situation and hope to gain some insight, even if just a tiny taste. The Elite Retreat. It’s unlike any marketing and business event you’ve ever attended, and it’s going to be amazing.

First off, a warning! We’re capping attendance at 35, regardless of how many apply to join us, so if you’re interested, you need to apply right now so you don’t miss your chance! We will only have ONE retreat each year. You can find out more about this years speakers and agenda here. Cost for participating in the Elite Retreat? $4,950 per person.

If you wanted to sit down in a room and spend even an hour with me, or any of the other leaders, you’d be looking at a multi-thousand dollar invoice and a value far, far above that.

Two days of us collectively exploring your business ideas, vision and plans, helping you crystalize and set up solid partnerships with other attendees and growing your business by leaps and bounds and suddenly seems like the great deal you know it is.

Quite a lineup, isn’t it?

If you’re interested in joining us, you really can’t go wrong. It’s going to be great, and it’s been quite gratifying to see that reaction throughout the blogosphere has been universally that “with these guys involved, it’ll definitely be worth the price!”.

Actually, we like what affiliate guru Shawn Collins says: the Elite Retreat is “a unique opportunity where a motivated entrepreneur could flip that cost into a significant profit.”

One tip, though: we’ve already received quite a few applications for attendance (we aren’t accepting the first 35 who come in the door, we’re really putting in the effort to pull together the 35 best entrepreneurs and business people to make the Retreat the very best possible event we can create). If you want to join us, however, please, apply sooner, not later!

All I know is some lucky people are going to benefit a lot from this and who knows, maybe next year they will have gotten so successful like these guys that they will be speaking at the next Elite Retreat!

You can learn so much from these experts. It´s a lot different from sitting alone at home trying to figure out something through trial and error.
