Wonder how all those bloggers get cartoons made of themselves? They most likely don’t use this method because theirs are more detailed and not even how they actually look. I found a very cheap alternative to anyone looking to ‘Cartoon themselves’.
A few days ago i came across a website called Cartoonme.com. I was a bit skeptical at first because of how cheap the service was. What they do is you send them a picture of yourself and they hand draw it in cartoon form. Considering the cost is only 3.50 euros (about $5) there’s really nothing to lose. It was kinda fun too seeing the result which takes up to 48 hours to get. I’m not exactly sure how they do it as I’m no graphics artist but I’m sure it’s a tracing with some detail added, but what do I know.
I’m not sure yet if I’m going to use the cartoon for my blog or any websites (maybe twitter) but it’s nice to have and know I can get a new one made with different pictures for a rediculously cheap price at anytime.

I was actually wondered where all these people got cartoons of themselves 🙂 If anything I think I’d want to do a “funny face” and get it done to see what it turns out like 🙂

Bryn, interesting cartoon avatar of you! I may try that service out.
I just returned from BlogWorld Expo 2008, I blogged about it here: http://donotreadthisblogunless.blogspot.com
Had an opportunity to offer my videographer services by finding one show management partner on Twitter, in exchange for an unrestricted pass.
Incredible access to thought leaders, and then I won the Market Leverage dinner with Shoemoney and John Chow and Zac Johnson at Envy Steakhouse… I’m still recovering from the fact that I started reading your blogs in July and August, and sitting at a table with some of you in Las Vegas in September!
Respectfully, Nicholas

Why do people want to make a cartoon of themself? If the blogger is not sightly, I can understand but if they are good looking like Bryn, I say use the regular picture.
