I was having a chat this morning with a friend and we were talking about how there are people all throughout your life who will always try and bring you down. These people don’t have the motivation to be successful like you so they just bitch and complain and ultimately do nothing about it.
I remember back in high school when I basically lived on my PC, working my ass off to sell virtual items. I was making good money for a kid my age (about $2000 a week), plus I was working a part-time job to keep my parents happy. I remember having people make fun of me for “wasting so much time on the computer”…little did they know I was actually working not just playing games like most kids. To this day some of those people are still working dead end jobs and constantly complain about it.
These people rarely change because they have no motivation whatsoever to change.
If you want something, it’s up to you to get off your ass and get it. To quote Scarface “The world is yours”.
I’m sure some people will comment with sob stories about how they’ve tried and failed and gave up and nothing ever works….blah blah blah.
Excuses don’t make you money.

I have to agree with you 100%. There are too many people out there that see what you have and they thing it was handed to you on a platter. They do not understand the work and dedication that went on behind the scenes to make it happen.

I completely agree! If I didn’t fail a couple times before, I wouldn’t be where I am right now. If you don’t learn from your mistakes or your failures, you will never get anywhere.

Great post…could not be more true.

Excellent post. I, being married, have had arguments with my wife. Then i tell her about a $1k profit day and she forgets it for a while. But she’s my wife and knows this is a hobby of mine and knows that I love what I do.

These are the people that buy kits so they can post links to Google and think they’ll make $5k a month!

These are the people that buy kits so they can post links to Google and think they’ll make $5k a month, so you can post that you are sick and tired of people…looking for excuses, buying kits, posting links to Google, so they’ll make $5k a month.
It’s a great system, and it ain’t gonna last forever.

Hey Bryn, good post over at Shoemoney. I have read it twice now and it has helped me refine my PPV skills a little more.
This post reminds me of the guys looking for a business in a box or the staples ez button to build their affiliate portfolio.
Even PPV takes work. You can only automate so much as you know. I would love to hear more about your techniques with PPV. I have built some pretty good tools to automate most of the research but they can always be improved. Posts like that get my creative coding ideas flowing.

^——- I’ll sec-ond that e-mo-tion..! π
The PPV articles you did at Shoemoney were very interesting and summarized very nicely. Additional PPV posts here would be great as well.
My 2 cents.

I can come up with a ton of excuses, but all those bad times made me a stronger person π Sometimes the negative comments keep me motivated. When someone expect nothing or worse don’t think i’m capable, I keep going!!! Makes me want to try even harder when I do see a little pay-off.

Bryn, you have really good points. It’s unfortunate but it’s true. I heard it all the time, “I’d be ranking in the dough if…” I just want to tell them to shut up and just do it! π

You are right on there. So many people are content with the normal routine of things. They don’t want to change because they are scared to. I don’t know how many times I have been told to get off the computer and get a real job.

“I gave a bum 5 bucks to give me a 10 second pitch about why heβs homeless.”
WOW you seem like a really cool guy who must feel so inadequate about yourself that you have to publicly humiliate a homeless man.

It was to prove a point, and I usually never give homeless people money. I made him do something for it and I explained why to him….he appreciated it.

$2k a week while still in high school?! That’s absolutely insane. There are people who don’t make that much now- and you still held a part-time job. It’s dedication like that that helps you make money online. The doubters can complain, but you’re obviously doing much better off than they are!
