Challenge Completed

by Bryn Youngblut on December 1, 2011

I successfully quit drinking for an entire month and I gotta say after the first week or so it was very easy. I realized quickly how unnecessary alcohol really is.

Don’t get me wrong I am still going to drink but I don’t feel that urge to need a drink whenever I am stressed out about something.

I lost almost 10 pounds, and I’m not even close to overweight. I started running every other day or so and started eating healthier.

I really enjoyed doing this little challenge, I’ll have to think of a new one to do soon. Maybe I’ll do another not drinking month in January.

Maybe if others want to join me we can start a group on Facebook or something.

Congratulations! It sounds like you’ve made a very good lifestyle change. I’d love to join you, but I’m sure I’ll have a few drinks at Affiliate Summit in January 🙂

CONGRATS

I have never “needed” to drink so I have no clue what that is like but as you commented on my post about my lifestyle change I know how hard a lifestyle change is and the awesome feeling of completing the change is.

word – I took 4 months off, went on a diet and lost 25 pounds and went from 20% body fat to 10%. Then I went on vacation and and the holidays came and i bounced back a few pounds and I’m at 12% now. About to get back on this horse.

Keep it up! I don’t have any drinking problems. I do need to eat healthier and exercise more.

Looks like you got a lot of supporters, count me in! Congratulations, this is such an amazing Christmas gift for yourself. Last February, I also succeeded on that same ‘challenge’ . At one point, we’ll come to realize that we’re tired of that same old feeling. I’d say, save that energy and be productive. Creating an FB page about this sounds interesting, hope to hear more about that FB group.

Congratulations. Each ounce of alcohol is 9 calories. White bread is 5. lol. Great ROI accomplishment.
